Inevitably, given the present economic circumstances, there will be debtors who simply can't pay and no end of conciliatory written or telephone requests will bring in the cash.
At this stage the time involved in chasing the money seems to increase in inverse proportion to the likelihood of getting any cash from the debtor.
Active management of the situation will increase the chances of releasing some or the entire amount owed. Of course, the time required to actively manage such debtors is not necessarily a resource that business owners want to invest.
Impact can find the time to actively manage the situation.
We have a two letter collection process (sent as a third party debt collector) which we support via telephone, email and text. We have a range of packages our clients can subscribe to.
- We are happy to take on your debts on a case by case basis for a contingent fee, determined by age, size and complexity of debt. (10-50&percent;)
- Bronze Package: An annual subscription (paid quarterly) of £750 plus 12.5&percent; of all monies recovered
- Silver Package: An annual subscription of £1500 plus 7.5&percent; of recoveries

There is no limit to the number of cases you send us as an annual subscriber.
In some cases we will need the extra teeth that a solicitors' letter before action gives us and we have a number of strategic partners who provide these to our clients through us at an excellent price.
For an additional flat fee of £50:
- Discuss the various options open to our client
- Assist in devising a strategy for the debtor
- Instruct and send an initial solicitor's letter
- Provide telephone follow up to the initial letter
- Instruct and send a solicitor follow up letter with more telephone support.
If the debtor has still failed to respond satisfactorily they probably deserve to get sued! In any event you will have all the information you need to determine whether you pursue the claim legally, write it off or allow us to keep puruing the debtor.
We are proud of the positive outcomes our 'olive branch' approach has precipitated with such debtors and are sure that our flat fee offers value for money compared to doing nothing and waiting to be advised to write the debt off by a liquidator.
