We apply our olive branch approach to debt collection. We find the conciliatory approach is simply more effective more quickly more often than the traditional 'big stick' approach of debt collection. We're not naïve enough to think this holds true in every case though, so where a more traditional collection process is required, we can switch to this.
The business was started by Iain Mackay. Iain graduated in Law from Manchester University in 1984. He then spent the next ten years training as an accountant in the City of London, passing Certified Accountancy exams and gaining experience and insight into a number of different industries.
Iain has held Company Accountant and Business Support Manager positions where he has set up and operated credit control departments.
He has also run a number of his own businesses and so has personal experience of the struggle to secure cash flow and protect the business from bad debt whilst making sales and developing the business. This ensures his approach is grounded and realistic.
Iain is supported by qualified and experienced staff managed by Robert Smyth. Robert graduated in European Administration from University of Humberside and has gone on to gain further accountancy and credit management qualifications.
All of our employees have extensive credit control and debt collection experience, but we look primarily for an exceptional customer service record in building the team.
