Impact OCCS Ltd is a new business based in North Yorkshire providing solutions to all credit control issues faced by small, medium and large enterprises.
We believe that businesses will find it increasingly difficult to ensure the timely receipt of monies owed as the recession continues and that there are a huge number of businesses, hitherto unaffected by slow and non-payers, who are ill prepared to chase their money.
We can provide a tailored credit control function to small and medium enterprises at a fraction of the cost of employing an in-house resource. Alternatively, we can enhance an existing credit control team, taking the strain of an increased workload and protecting the integrity of the in-house team.
The business was started by Iain Mackay. Iain graduated in Law from Manchester University in 1984. He then spent the next ten years training as an accountant in the City of London, passing Certified Accountancy exams and gaining experience and insight into a number of different industries.
Iain has held Company Accountant and Business Support Manager positions where he has set up and operated credit control departments.
He has also run a number of his own businesses and so has personal experience of the struggle to secure cash flow and protect the business from bad debt whilst making sales and developing the business. This ensures his approach is grounded and realistic.
